PRESS RELEASE ISSUED BY MATTRESS FIRM:

Mattress Firm To Carry BedJet, Featured on Shark Tank

Bedding technology company to sell climate-control product at MattressFirm.com

Houston (Feb. 4, 2015) – Mattress Firm has announced its decision to partner with BedJet, the manufacturer of an innovative bedding climate control system, on the Mattress Firm website. The company’s founder Mark Aramli, a former engineer on the cooling and heating systems for NASA spacesuits, went fishing for investors on ABC’s hit show “Shark Tank” on Tuesday, Feb.3, debuting his innovative product on national television.

“Our goal when developing the BedJet was to bring the most cutting-edge technology available to add comfort to the bedroom, where we spend 30 percent of their lives,” said BedJet Founder Mark Aramli. “We are grateful to have had the opportunity to share our story with the sharks, despite not being funded at the end of the episode, and are thrilled to be partnering with Mattress Firm, the largest bedding specialty retailer in the U.S., to provide an in-demand product to their customer base.”

The BedJet, a stand-alone climate control system for your bed, was developed in 2013 to rapidly heat and cool the area between the sheets, providing comfort before, during and after a night’s sleep. The BedJet sits next to or under the foot of your bed and connects to the top of the mattress area via a small, unobtrusive air duct anchored at the bottom corner of the bed. It is currently the fastest-responding technology available to provide cooling and warming comfort to sleepers. The bedside wireless remote control or intelligent Bluetooth smartphone app activates the heat or cool function.

“Our customers regularly tell us that temperature control is an important factor in their ability to get a great night sleep,” said Brian Baxter, Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Mattress Firm. “We are always looking for ways to provide our customers with the highest level of product and service, and we look forward to offering the BedJet as a climate-control solution.”

The BedJet is compatible with all mattress types and sizes, and will join Mattress Firm’s existing list of top-name bedding brands, including Sealy, Serta, Simmons, Tempur-Pedic, Stearns & Foster and Hampton & Rhodes.

Mattress Firm is slated to begin selling the BedJet in March 2015 on their website, MattressFirm.com.
