Excellent Product
I was somewhat skeptical that the queen size BedJet would fit in my limited space travel trailer. However, it's low-profile fits and works perfectly. None of the features are limited and falling to sleep with the massage unit running and my head in the snore position is heaven!
Nice "Upgrade" to the Power Layer - could have a few tweaks to make it excellent!
So this was a neat addition to have to the Power Layer. I wasn't quite sure how it would work, but interested to find out. The motors are attached to the Power Layer, and basically send the massage through the mattress. Depending on the type of mattress you have, the "massage intensity" will likely be effected. For me, with a fairly thick memory foam mattress on 100%, it feels like it is about 60-75% of a traditional massage device. That is understandable given it is going through the mattress. I do love that it can be controlled with the BedJet 3 Remote...I like the "Alarm" options, and look forward to playing around with it more. My only "gripe" is the concern another had, but for another reason. You are "locked in" where to put the massage heads. I have a Queen bed, but sleep in it solo - so I am in the center of the bed. The 4 massage heads are favoring the 2 sides as if 2 people were in the bed. So for me to feel the massage, I have to be on the far left or right of the bed. A simple power extension cord that could be bought or supplied would allow us to position the heads in a different place on the bars for more of a personalized massage experience/comfort. I am hoping BedJet might supply or make these extension cords available to us. I am still happy I bought the massage kit. It wasn't that much more on top of the PowerLayer and it does add a "little something extra" to the PowerLayer experience - especially since it is integrated to the BedJet Remote...but if we could get extension cables for the motor power so we can position them to our liking - that would make these an easy 5 stars!!!
A great addition to the power layer
It took me a minute to figure out how to install them and was a bit of a struggle to get the foot "ends" installed. I do wish that there was some leeway in where they get installed because the head one would feel better if I could have installed it a couple of inches lower but they feel great/very relaxing. On a side note, I have a platform bed with the slats and the motors do make the bed slats vibrate which is super noisy but no fault of the massage motors and I'm still trying to come up with an ideal solution. I'm super happy I took the risk and ordered!
