To start off, I NEVER write reviews. It’s hard to trust the reviews, I don’t know if they are paid reviews, or honest reviews. THIS IS NOT A PAID REVIEW! So, what has compelled me to write a review of my BJ3? Simple, the product and company! I have had great products, but horrible costumer service, and great companies but horrible products. This is one of the only products that check them both.
1: I am a hot sleeper, my wife is a cold sleeper
2: Have tried cooling mattresses, pillows, and sheets
3: When none of those worked, I froze my family out with the AC set at 62’F for two years
4: Wife said this must change, the kids are super uncomfortable and she is not going to take it much longer
Read a ton on bed cooling systems, gave bed jet a try.
1: Queen Bed
2: My wife wants the thermostat set at 68’F
3: Wife has zero interest in warming or cooling her side of the bed.
Ok, so I bought the BJ3 with their dual zone cloud sheet, or so I thought! I actually bought the single zone queen sheet, thinking single zone meant one side, by mistake. I felt embarrassed that I didn’t read the description carefully, and was going to just buy the correct sheet, and just **** up the loss. BTW, I had already washed the sheet, as I always wash things prior to it’s first use. I contacted BJ to see if I could order a new sheet as I ******* up, and they responded with this: “no, we will not let you buy another sheet because we are sending you the correct one for free. Attached to this email is a return label, just send us back the sheet that doesn’t work for you, regardless of it being wash already.” What? Heck ya! Within 48 hours, I had the correct sheet!
Setup was super easy and I was really hoping this would solve my hot sleeper problem, AND, keep my marriage and family happy! Turn the thermostat to 68’F, and settled in thinking, yet another sleepless night. I WAS SOOOOO WRONG! Not only did I get the best night of sleep that I had had in recent memory, so did my entire family!
Ok, so, the product worked, the return and replacement of the sheet was awesome. Still, it worked as advertised, no need to write a review. I expect things to work like they are advertised to do, no praise for that. BUT, the next night, there was a power outage in my area, and yet another ****** night’s sleep! In the morning, I reset the clocks, got the kids off to school and turned my attention to make sure my BJ3 was up and running. Well, nope, completely dead! I have no idea why or how. I emailed the company again and they said “we don’t want you to do additional work, so no need to return the unit for us to repair it. I have already sent you a brand new unit in the mail”. In 2 days, the new unit arrived and I had yet another great night’s sleep!
What a great company! They made me feel like I was their only customer and really wanted me to be happy with their product! Mission Accomplished!
I can’t attest on the longevity of my BJ3. I have no idea why it stopped working after it’s first use. But this is how I feel: even if this unit breaks again, the company will go out of their way to make it right.
If you need to cool or heat you night’s sleep, the BedJet 3 will 100% work. But, even more importantly, if it doesn’t work for you, I am confident the company will give you a return.
To Bed Jet: Thanks again! I want you to be massively successful, but please, never depart from your “small company” feel! The personalization will keep customers like me loyal to your products for life!
