Why is this not already included? When you have an upgrade you should include it all around, not offer it for an additional fee. Very sketchy

Fantastic upgrade. It almost should be a standard that it comes with. It's a shame they come with the rounded one. This fits so much better in the sheets because it's flat.

So much better

It has a smaller profile so bankers do not look so bulky at the foot of the bed. Takes up less space. Totally worth it.

Fits between footboard and Mattress, but BARELY!

I purchased this to replace the included round one with my system. It's a little expensive for what it is, but it did do the trick though it still took some serious finagling to get it to get it in place. I ended up taking one side of the footboard off to get it in the space roughly the same size as this hose, but did succeed. It does work as well as the original hose BUT I do have two complaints. The top of the hose that fits into the sheet pops off the hose WAY too easy. It's clamshell and just pops apart at will. Just trying to get the hose out of the sheet typically removes the head from the hose 🤬. There needs to be a redesign that holds this together better. The second issue is the sheet clips on either side. These are pretty much useless. I put these on the edge of the sheet after the hose is inserted then I spread the sheet out and typically pop these "clips" open releasing the sheet about 100% of the time. If these were locking pliers, I'd have thrown them in the garbage a long time ago, but they are actually part of the head. Again, another redesign is in order. As expensive as these systems and parts are for what they are due to their niche market, the quality could be a bit better. I have purchased 2 systems (1 dual zone and 1 single zone) and a few upgrades, and overall, I am happy with the Bedjet system as a whole as it does exactly what I wanted. I use the cool function as I sleep very hot, typically, and my wife loves to use the heat function. So, we do sleep differently which makes the dual zone a key selling point. The single zone, I purchased for another bedroom as I sometimes sleep in that room if I am on a different sleep schedule, but I digress. This review is for the hose, and overall, it is a bit of a disappointment and not worth the money spent, unfortunately 😞.

Very little difference for $100 more? The outlet nozzle is exactly the same as original unit. Only the hose changed from round to square! Very little improvement for the price. Do not recommend.

Excellent accessory! My only complaint is that it should have come with the BedJet. It seems superior to the bundled hose in every way.

Fits tight against bed and doesn't slip off the bracket.

Overpriced & Underdelivered

I should have heeded some of the other reviews. To pay $100 to replace our two standard hoses with the two flat hoses is not worth it. It's only a 25 to 30% reduction of the bulkiness, at best. The flat hoses should come standard, or the reduction of bulkiness should be greater, or the price should be less (half of what it is). Pick one BedJet. Overall, though, your product is fantastic and works wonderfully.

Flat hose vs round one

I love my bedjet and have told many about it. I do not like to use furnace and have no a.c, I always found issue when changing bedding. I was given a home made bungie cord to clip to fitted sheets to prop top part up and in place. Hope this flat one works better,

Flat hose

It still has the same air pressure and great flow, but unlike the original hoses these come with the heads attached! The first time I undid from sheet to wash sheet the head came apart from the hose , I had to struggle to get it back on! Very fragile! Only complaint it happened like 1 week after had it!

Should be standard Offering

This flat hose is perfect, but why after spending all the money for the unit, do I need to buy the hose that fits? A round hose to go against a flat surface, it makes no sense. The flat hose fits PERFECT, I am just annoyed I had to find out about it by happy accident. Also, it comes with what I will call "hair ties" to keep the hose clamp together, why was that not included with the several hundred dollar unit?

Flat Hose Attachment

The flat hose is a much better fit for our bed setup as it allows ease of putting on the sheets vs the round hose. Might be good to have that as an option to choose when purchasing the BedJet.

BedJet3 love it but mount is not great

I love my bedjet3 but the only bad thing is when I put the mount under my mattress it doesn’t go high enough with my pillow top mattress. It is higher than normal ones and I wished they gave more links in the mount assembly. I was thinking of buying the flat hose if it came with a higher mount or extra links to add to the one I have.

Love the new hose accessory

We have had two bed jets for many years and we just purchased a new bed frame. We decided to purchase the flat hose accessory and it does give a smoother look to the bed once it is made. Bed Jet rocks!

Much better asthetic

I agree with the other review. This should be the standard hose for the product. The other hose is bulky and very noticeable. This one fits between our mattress and footboard so now you can't see the hose. So much nicer! Worth the purchase.

Thin Hose

Purchased the upgrade thinner profile hose - it should be the standard. My hose end comes off the fan unit - not sure if it’s related to thin hose or not. Thin hose works well with tighter bed frames but it comes loose from the plastic pieces that hold it to the mattress frequently. Disappointing that the hose creates a big lump when the bed is made. Still recommend over the larger round hose.
