Stay asleep all night long with custom biorhythm sleep technology

BedJet was the first company to introduce dynamic temperature control biorhythm sleep technology, enabling pre-programed personalized cooling and warming settings for every hour of the night.

If you toss and turn all night because you're sweating one hour and freezing the next, you'll sleep better with BedJet's biorhythm feature—no more waking up to adjust a thermostat.

Biorhythm programming is available for BedJet V2 via the smartphone app, with suggested profiles that promote improved sleep. Biorhythm programming is available for BedJet 3 via the color remote control, with suggested profiles to be within the BedJet 3 smartphone app coming late 2019.

Biorhythm Features

Programming personalized biorhythm sequences allows BedJet to create your perfect sleeping environment for every hour of the night. You can even obsolete your noisy alarm clock with a temperature wakeup trigger!

First, explore the Turbo, Heat, and Cool modes at a range of fan speeds and temperatures to find your ideal comfort levels. Make note of your preferred settings and sleep tendencies (i.e. always waking up sweaty around 2am, too cold in the early morning, etc.).

Use this data to create your own personalized sleep cycle. Need the sheets toasty while you drift into sleep, cool for the early morning hours to avoid night sweats, and a warm air blast at 7am to wake you up? Done!

Setting Clock Times vs. Durations

Setting your BedJet biorhythm to execute steps by duration works well for folks who have the same schedule every night, but for those whose nightly bedtime varies this approach may not be ideal. If you fall under the latter category, you may want to set your BedJet biorhythm to execute steps at specific clock times instead.

The steps to switch between clock time and duration vary according by model. Please select your BedJet model from the list below.

BedJet V2 (Smartphone App)

For BedJet V2 (via Smartphone App), the default method for setting up time for each step in your sleep cycles is by duration.

BedJet's Cool and Wait actions can be set to happen at specific times by utilizing the “End at a Time” clock time feature for your sleep cycle steps (this feature is not applicable for Heat and Turbo modes). Do this by tapping the cell in that particular step row under the Gear icon column and selecting the “End at a Time” option.

Now tap the cell for that step under the Length column, and you will be able to specify an actual clock time. Then, regardless of when you start your biorhythm cycle for the night, BedJet will keep the adjusted steps happening at the desired time.

Step 1:
Tap the cell under the Gear icon in the desired row

Step 2:
Select "End at a Time" in the popup window

Step 3:
Tap the cell under "Length" in the desired row

Step 3:
Select a time for the selected cycle to finish

BedJet 3 (Smart Remote)

For BedJet 3 via the Smart Remote, BedJet's Cool and Wait actions can easily be set to happen at specific times (this feature is not applicable for Heat and Turbo modes).

When creating a new step or editing an existing one, the Time Mode screen will prompt you to select either "Via End Time" or "Via Duration". Choose "Via End Time" to select the exact hour and minute for that step to conclude.

Now, regardless of when you start your biorhythm cycle for the night, BedJet will keep the adjusted steps happening at the desired time.

Step 1:
Insert a new step or edit an existing one to begin

Step 2:
Continue through the fan and temperature prompts

Step 3:
Select "Via End Time" on the Time Mode prompt

Step 3:
Select a time for the selected cycle to finish

Setting a Wakeup Alarm

Let's say you use the BedJet for a few hours when first going to bed, then want it off for part of the night but want to be woken up exactly at 7am with a blast of hot air. Program in your first few biorhythm cycle steps the way you want using duration timing. Then use a Wait Mode step for the period of the night you won’t need the BedJet on. Set the Wait Mode to end at 7am using the "End at a Time" function described above, and make the very next step in the table after the Wait Mode the one you want to be woken up with.

Suggested Cycles that Promote Sleep

The key to these sample cycles is that they start with a short period of warming, go to gentle cooling for the remainder of the night and then wake you up with warming again. No pre-programmed suggestion is going to be right for everyone so you should experiment to find what works best for you.

These sample settings are calibrated for installations without a Cloud Sheet. If you are using a Cloud Sheet, try boosting the air flow on the steps by 10%.
